Coronavirus in Gurugram: Two more Covid-19 cases reported, tally touches 10

GURUGRAM: Two more Gurugram residents were tested positive for coronavirus infection on Tuesday.
The district has so far recorded 10 cases of Covid-19, as per the medical bulletin released by the health department.
A 42-year-old man, who had recently returned from London, has been tested positive of coronavirus infection. Meanwhile, the swab reports of a 55-year-old woman also confirmed for Covid-19.

On Tuesday, a total of 50 samples were collected by the health department. Till date, the district has received 182 test reports of which 172 are negative.
“The samples of the 42-year-old man have been tested positive. Meanwhile, an elderly woman has also found to be positive for coronavirus. She is the grandmother of a patient who is a student from UK and has been studying there for the last one-and-half year. She had approached the health department on March 16 after she returned home. We had collected samples from her father, her mother, brother and grandmother. Her brother is being treated at a private hospital for coronavirus infection. At present, we have 10 confirmed positive Covid-19 cases from Gurugram,” said chief medical officer JS Puniya.
